Gill Von Buddenbrock

An avid North Coast enthusiast Gill pioneered the Sugar Rush website to bring all the best things in Ballito and surrounding areas together in one place.  Gill has always been involved in marketing, sales  and admin and worked in a few industries including Pharmaceuticals, Investment banking and recruitment.  She is passionate about life and people and will always find the time to somehow fit everything in.  A true believer in support those you support you, the Sugar Rush website is designed for everyone no matter what the budget or requirements.

As the niece of Pam & Howard Essery, Gill practically grew up in the area as weekends and holidays were spent either on their farm in Umhlali or Beach Cottage in Salt Rock.  

Gill spent nearly 7 years in England with her husband Brett where they had their 2 daughters Claudia and Brigitte and decided to relocate back to SA in 2006 where they ended up in Ballito.  Best move they ever made!! A couple of years later Luke was born and the family of 5 (plus plenty of pets) live a very happy life in Ballito.

Some of Gill’s hobbies include Mountain biking, Boot Camp and Kettle Bell classes, running, socializing and spending time with her family, especially her 3 gorgeous children!!
