Suburban Play

Suburban Play is a trendy new leisure & entertainment facility open in Umhlali near Ballito. Creatively geared for indoor sports enthusiasts, families and friends, this up market community development, situated in the heartland of the Dolphin Coast, uniquely caters for all age groups.

Suburban Play offers a creative spectrum of special amenities that range from an indoor open-plan space ideal for sports as well as corporate functions, team building programs and social events. Adding on to this facility will soon be an indoor children’s play centre which will be a safe haven for both toddlers and children.

The grassed staircase leads you to The Kitchen Bar which is situated on the Mezzanine level. This is open for light meals as well as on the go snacks. Tables and chairs allow you to sit upstairs and view the game being played below or view sporting events on the mounted Flat Screen TV. There is a wide range open sandwiches, pizza’s, burgers and snack baskets to choose from – although the menu is simple – the quality and cost is well worth the meal! A select range of hot and cold beverages are also available including Ciro coffee. The Kitchen Bar has a large bar facility which will become available once the liquor license has been approved. Teams who would prefer to relax after a game are able to utilize the braai facilities in the courtyard – charcoal and fire lighters are supplied by Suburban Play.

Due to the diversity of the venue, once the netting has been stylishly draped and acoustically rigged, it is readily transformed into a versatile space for conferences, seminars, children’s parties and live entertainment events.
