Rhino River Lodge is a private 16 bed lodge situated in the 23000 hectare Zululand Rhino Reserve.

27 km north of Hluhluwe Game Reserve we are a private game reserve in KZN. Our intimate and exclusive lodge is set in the very heart of Zululand against the backdrop of the lovely Lebombo Mountains. Come and join us for a unique bush experience on our private game reserve near Hluhluwe. Feel the weight lifted from your shoulders the moment you arrive; breathe in the fresh, aromatic bushveld air and feel the outside world dissipate. Rhino River Lodge is home to a wealth of wildlife including: lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, black and white rhino, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, blue wildebeest, warthog, bush pig and ostrich..

We offer self catering as well as full board accommodation. Game Drives, night drives, bush walks, bush dinners & private dining experiences.

Rhino River Lodge offers some of the finest Hlhuluwe accommodation available - both catered & self-catering. Our two thatched, double storey log cabins each accommodate 5 people and are ideal for guests who wish to prepare their own food. We also have four en suite double/twin cottages for guests who wish to dine at Rhino River Lodge. Each cottage has tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar. These cottages have a private entrance and secluded verandah overlooking the Umsunduze River where you can enjoy an early morning coffee or an evening sundowner before joining us around the boma fire for pre-dinner drinks.
